Johnson Mertz Appliance is your appliance expert, serving Duluth since the 1960's. Almost 50 years ago Johnson Appliance opened for business in Duluth's west-end as an appliance and TV store. The business became Johnson Mertz Appliance Inc. in 1978. At that time Johnson Mertz Appliance was located at 57th and Grand Ave. in west Duluth, MN. Johnson Mertz Appliance is a family owned and operated business started by Richard and Lois Mertz and continued by Frank, Jonathan, Jennifer and Richie. All are residents of Duluth, MN. Johnson Mertz Quality Appliance store is presently located at 4258 Haines Rd, Duluth MN. The business has grown over the years to include FJS Distributors and Prime Appliance Factory Outlet. As a small business we currently employ 35 people. At Johnson Mertz Appliance we sell and distribute a wide range of brand name major appliances like: Amana, Bosch, Electrolux, Fisher & Paykel, GE Monogram, KitchenAid, Sub-Zero, Wolf and more. At Johnson Mertz Appliance we pride ourselves in our commitment to our customers and our employees and we are YOUR source for competitive prices with knowledgeable in-store professionals here to help you every step of the way. Over the past 30 years we have grown in spite of increased competition from the national big box stores. We have grown because we have always placed an emphasis on our customers first. We are proud to be part of the Duluth business community and our business has prospered because the people of Duluth have supported local businesses like ours.
