The health and safety of our customers and the Johnson Mertz Appliance team have always been our top priority. We, like many other businesses, are following the recommendations of federal, state and local agencies to ensure we are doing our part to keep ourselves and our communities safe during this time of uncertainty.

Johnson Mertz Appliance is taking the following precautions in response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19):

Appliance Center

The Johnson Mertz Appliance Center remains open for business. At this time, we do not foresee the need for closure, but we will keep you informed if the situation changes. Our hours of operation are as follows.

• Monday & Thursday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

To keep our team and the greater community safe, and to do our part in stopping the spread of COVID-19, we ask that anyone experiencing symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath) to postpone their visit until symptoms have cleared. Our employees will also follow this procedure.

Home Cooking – Cancelled until further notice

While our store will remain open, we have made the decision to cancel our Home Cooking: Brought to you by Johnson Mertz demonstrations until further notice. Following the federal government’s recommendation to avoid gathering in groups of more than ten people, we felt postponing these events was in the public’s best interest. Thank you for your understanding. We will let you know as soon as we reschedule these fun events.

Installations and Deliveries

We are committed to continuing in-home installation and deliveries and are taking precautions to keep our customers and technicians safe. Our technicians will wear disposable gloves and booties to limit contact and will use hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes to ensure workspaces remain clean. While technicians are working in your home, we ask that customers maintain a safe 6-foot distance from the technician and the work area.
